Of course! Thank you for the opportunity to share my story. I first became interested in memory techniques when I was studying computer engineering at the National University of Singapore. I found myself struggling to remember all the information I needed for my exams, and I knew there had to be a better way to retain and recall information. That’s when I stumbled upon a book on memory techniques by Tony Buzan, and I was immediately intrigued by the idea of using visualization and association to improve memory.

From there, I began studying and practicing memory techniques in my spare time, and I found that they made a huge difference in my ability to remember information. I started to see improvements not just in my studies, but in my daily life as well. I was able to remember people’s names more easily, recall important dates and appointments, and even remember where I parked my car!

As I continued to refine my memory techniques, I became more and more passionate about sharing them with others. I started teaching memory improvement workshops to friends and family, and then began offering workshops to the public. It was incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact these techniques were having on people’s lives, and I knew I wanted to do more.

That’s when I decided to take my passion for memory improvement to the next level and become a memory athlete. I began competing in memory competitions and setting records, and I represented Singapore at the world memory championships in 2011.
